–PTL –My ticket was purchased on Friday! I leave May 17 from Chicago to London and meet up with the other US teams there. I return July 11. I have also found out that I can take 3 pieces of luggage!!
–Pray for the details while I am in Zambia as to what I will be doing there.
–Pray that God will continue to give me peace and patience at my job and that I can finish strong.
–Pray that funds will come in quickly. I have raised half of what I need for the trip.
–Details regarding a friend moving in with me and staying at my house while I am in Zambia
–Spiritual preparation
–I will have to quit my job while I am in Zambia. (They do not offer a leave of absence). It sounds like I can get my job back when I come back, but there are no guarantees. Please pray for a job when I get back.
–Old and new relationships that have been formed while in Zambia. Please pray that they would continue to grow.
–I would continue to stay healthy throughout the rest of the winter
–Being a good witness to those around me here in the USA. Taking advantage of opportunities to share about Christ and what is going on around the world.
–PTL-- Brian Kallevig who had Malaria last week is doing better. Please continue to pray for strength and full recovery. Brian and his family moved to Zambia in October. Brian is in charge of the agricultural part of the college.
–Pray for those who will be teaching at the college. Pray for guidance and that the students can understand.
–Please pray for Kingsley and his wife Mary (Pastor and family that I support) from Malawi. Please pray that God will continue to use him in his ministry.
–Please pray for Chad (Delaware Team). Chad has been to Zambia several times. Pray for continued health for Chad.
–Please pray for Kara (Iowa Team). Kara went to Zambia last year and fell in love with the people and the country. Please pray for the needed funds to come in for her and for the preparation.
