Today was another day in community schools. (due to the holiday again). We did get to spend time in Richard's church.
Let me tell you a little bit about Richard....He is married with 3 adorable girls. He is the worship pastor at one of the churches and is sponsored by Gospelink. He has translated for me the past 3 years. His translation of the Little Lost Sheep story is quite entertaining. Sometimes, you wonder what he is really saying to the kids. He also acts out the story. In other words, it is a blast to work with him. You never know what will happen or the questions you will get.
The worship after our presentations to the students was amazing!! The songs of the Zambians, make you want to dance and learn. They are so excited about what they are singing.
Lunch today---priceless... We were invited to Davis's house for lunch. We were the first group to ever be invited to his house and be invited for a meal there. Davis is the guy who is in charge of our week of ministry. He sets up all of the schools we go to and where we do the Jesus Film and where we eat. He is AWESOME!!!
His wife was at the college, so his daughter (who just had a baby June 25) made us an AWESOME meal for us. It was wonderful. The baby was so adorable!!! .
After lunch, we were at another school presenting to the students.
Tonight was the first night of the Jesus Film. There were lots of people that showed up to watch this movie. Majority of the crowd does not have TV or the ability to "to to the movies". Some, have never seen a motion picture.
