Today, we headed out to 2 schools. Since it was a holiday today, we could only go to what they call community schools. We learned that these schools are ones held at several churches. They are doing what they can to sustain and teach, but the kids don't have the resources to attend the government schools. Several of the children are either single-orphans or double-orphans.
For those who had never been in the classrooms before, this was a good opportunity to "break them in". They had a chance to share in large groups of Americans to small groups of students.
