Prayer Requests for the week of April 18, 2009

I leave in 28 days!!!!

–PTL all of the funds for the trip itself have come in. I am still raising money for supplies for the school ministry and gifts for Pastors and the Ladies.

–Please pray that I can make wise decisions as to what supplies and gifts to purchase for the school ministry, Pastors and Ladies.
–I will be hosting another fundraiser (a Murder Mystery Party) on April 25. I think it will be a fun way to raise funds for the trip. Please pray that people would come and support me.
–I will be speaking to a church in Ft Wayne April 26. Please pray that I will have the ability to be concise and share the needs that are there. (Many of you know that I can talk and talk about Zambia. But unless you’ve been there, others are just not as interested.)
–Pray for the details while I am in Zambia as to what I will be doing there.
–Pray that God will continue to give me peace and patience at my job and that I can finish strong.
–Spiritual preparation
–I will have to quit my job while I am in Zambia. (They do not offer a leave of absence). It sounds like I can get my job back when I come back, but there are no guarantees. Please pray for a job when I get back.
–I would continue to stay healthy throughout the rest of the spring
–Being a good witness to those around me here in the USA. Taking advantage of opportunities to share about Christ and what is going on around the world.
–Pray for those who will be teaching at the college. Pray for guidance and that the students can understand.
– Please pray for Lewis and Leah (leaders of Gospelink). They are leaving this weekend to prepare the college for summer teams that are coming. They will be in Zambia for a month.
–Please pray for Kingsley and his wife Mary (Pastor and family that I support) from Malawi. I received an update this past week and they have been able to do teaching with new Christians. Their prayer requests include a teachable spirit to the new converts and God’s wisdom to our ministry life.
–Please pray for Evelyn (Delaware Team). Evelyn has been to Zambia several times and truly enjoys spending time with the ladies! Please pray for God to renew the relationships that have been made.
–Please pray for Linda (Iowa Team). Linda went to Zambia in 2007. This experience in Zambia changed Linda’s life. Please pray that God will reveal Himself to her.
