Prayer Requests for the week of May 1, 2009

I leave in 15 days!!!

I am still looking for people to pray on specific days!! Let me know if you are interested...

–PTL all of the funds for the trip itself have come in. I am still raising money for supplies for the school ministry and gifts for Pastors and the Ladies.
–Please pray that I can make wise decisions as to what supplies and gifts to purchase for the school ministry, Pastors and Ladies. There are so many ideas.
–PTL I hosted another fundraiser (a Murder Mystery Party) on April 25. Everyone had lots of fun!!!
–PTL I spoke to a House Church in Ft Wayne April 26. I was able to share what God was doing in Zambia and what needs there are.
–Pray for the details while I am in Zambia as to what I will be doing there.
–Pray that God will continue to give me peace and patience at my job and that I can finish strong.
–Spiritual preparation
–I will have to quit my job while I am in Zambia. (They do not offer a leave of absence). It sounds like I can get my job back when I come back, but there are no guarantees. Please pray for a job when I get back.
–I would continue to stay healthy throughout the rest of the spring
–Being a good witness to those around me here in the USA. Taking advantage of opportunities to share about Christ and what is going on around the world.
–Pray for those who will be teaching at the college. Pray for guidance and that the students can understand.
– Please pray for Lewis and Leah (leaders of Gospelink). Lewis will be staying in Zambia another couple of weeks. Leah has come back this weekend.
–Please pray for Kingsley and his wife Mary (Pastor and family that I support) from Malawi. I received an update this past week and they have been able to do teaching with new Christians. Their prayer requests include a teachable spirit to the new converts and God’s wisdom to our ministry life.
